Dr. George T. Daniels is a man of character, integrity, and wisdom. He was born to the late George and Catherine Daniels in Brooklyn, New York. He received his Bachelor of Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology; Master of Divinity from Shaw University Divinity School; and Doctor of Ministry from Regent University. As a chaplain, Dr. Daniels has completed several extended units of Clinical Pastoral Education and completed a residency at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC.

He has served as the chaplain for Urban Ministries of Raleigh and the South Wilmington Street Men’s Shelter. Also, he established the Spiritual Care program at Southlight in Raleigh, NC, an addiction recovery center. In 2018, Dr. Daniels was appointed to the Professional Advisory Board for the Clinical Pastoral Education Program at Wake Medical Center.  As an educator, Dr. Daniels serves as a Full-time Faculty Member at Apex School of Theology, and as the Director of Student Affairs for Apex School of Theology.  Dr. Daniels serves as the pastor of Hope Fellowship Church in Garner, NC.

Within the Church of God in Christ, Dr. Daniels serves as the Secretary of the North Carolina 2nd Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Council of Pastors and Elders of the Church of God in Christ (COGIC). He is also a member of the Jurisdiction Ordination Board and serves as a Superintendent of Churches.  He has authored two children books, “Sounds Animals Make” and “Reading Fun with Little Georgie.”

Dr. Daniels is socially active and involved with community issues such as police brutality, mental health, housing discrimination, and homelessness. He lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife, Viola. They have a son, George III.

First Lady Viola Daniels

Viola Denise Daniels is the First Lady of Hope Fellowship church in Garner, NC. Lady Daniels was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She relocated with her husband to Raleigh, NC in the summer of 2002.

Lady Daniels supports her husband in ministry as the church administrator and accountant for Hope Fellowship church. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bernard Baruch College where she majored in Accounting. Her 15 plus years as a professional accountant, her attention to detail, and her willingness to make a difference has afforded her the opportunity to serve in various ministry roles in the church community.

 

She has a passion for young people. She believes that we should inspire young people through warmth, love and compassion. She possesses a genuine desire to help young people deepen their relationship with God. She is committed to cultivating an environment that enables all people, young and old to discover their God-given purpose and destiny. Viola is a supportive wife to her husband George; she receives the most joy from raising their only son George Thomas III in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
